Hi all,

I have been very busy with life in general and haven't done much art work for review. (I need to fix that huh?) Well, for the rest of this summer I hope to produce and maybe even color some of the art work I have created in the past. I want to find a mentor for myself. I want to become a better artist and grow.

By the way everyone I quit smoking (two months smoke free) and it sure hasn't been an easy row to hoe if you know what i mean?

I also found out My 28 year old son had a heart attack and has a pace maker now. (Why am I always last to know?) ugh!!!

OH! My inlaws I've never met will be here today as well.....gulp! This is going to be interesting because my wife is worried as well.............?

Hey Cartuneman! Thanks a million for the reply about the iron man picture. Just to answer your Q, I'm actually still in college in Dún Laoghaire, Dublin in a place called IADT(Institute of Art, Design and Tech.). Just about to start my 4th and final year in september. A bit nervous because I have to do my own graduate film that will be the basis of my portfolio when I go looking for work :S But at the moment your correct I have plenty of time just doodling and drwaing and the like. I would love to hear some feedback from you regarding the ironman picture! I was having a look through your gallery and was really impressed at the quality of your work. Excellent stuff! I really like the ones with the dragons and lions. Two of my favorite things to look at and draw :D But as I was saying some imput on the iron man pic would be great; I'm not too happy with his arms. They look a bit warped in terms of perspective. Im happy with the colouring myself too. It was my first real attempt at doing a piece of digital concept/fanart. A magazine called Imagine FX started me off on the whole digital art scene and I'm sure it will be beneficial in the future regarding my animation. I don't know if ye have Imagine FX in the states but here is a link to their webby: [link]

HALLOOOO!!!!! Glad to hear from you. A merry xmas to you and your family! Hope the new year is better than this one ne!. Oooeee of course I will, I must say I cant wait to see it. You've inspired me to do something wizardy, so Ive made a sketch book looks old and then Im gonna draw lotsa wizards and was thinking more in the line of your work and Paul Kidby's.
